It must run in the family

A few weeks ago in primary I had a sharing time lesson on how to come closer to God. I had little footprints cut out of paper and asked the kids to write or draw on the footprint what they can do to come closer to God. Then they had to come to the front and share what they had written or drawn. When it was Blakes turn this is what he brought up to show the class.

I'm positive he inherited that clever brain from his dad.

Banana Ball

When we were little she would tease me, trick me and make me do things I didn't want to do.

Lucky for her, I still love her.

Mostly b/c for years she was the queen of bangs and I coveted her full fringe.

She is still my idol and I still covet her beautiful, shiny locks of lovely curls.

Except for right after she wakes up in the morning...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JANA Banana Ball!!!

Holiday works

Both my eyes and tummy are bit puffy after this long weekend of going to bed very late every night and consuming a load of sugar every day.
It was well worth it all.

Our friends put on a great firework show before heading to Conshohocken fireworks.

We enjoyed a Phillies game

Colin and Sarah thought it would be pretty funny to give Blake a gender complex.

Happy holidays to you all!

Thank You Captain Canuck!

Just in time for Canada Day, Captain Canuck came to my rescue.

I didn't bake a cake or even wear red but I did get a surprise celebration at the end of the night. We had a busy day today and got home around 9:00pm. Just in time to catch a firework show visible from our backyard. So we climbed through Blake's bedroom window and sat on the roof to enjoy the show.

Happy Canada day to all my friends and family up North. I wish I could of gone to the Raymond parade with you all!
